In 2019, when I was just 12 years old, I first heard about coding but had no idea how it actually worked. My cousin and mentor Farhan Ali Raza who was already working in programming, guided me to start with Python.

I took a few lessons from him, but honestly, I didn’t understand much at the time. I often felt confused and demotivated. I would start learning, stop after a while, then try again a month later and quit again. This cycle continued for some time(1.5years 🫢 ).

In 2021, during my intermediate studies, I decided to take coding seriously and restart my journey. I began learning from different resources such as Code with Mosh, CodeWithHarry, Traversy Media & w3schools.com. Gradually, my programming basics started becoming clearer.

At that time, I was only learning Python but not building anything real. I kept wondering how my mentor was building websites and applications, while I was only writing Python code. That curiosity pushed me to explore more.

While researching on the internet, I discovered Web Development and different technology stacks. Then I found the Sheryians Coding School YouTube channel, which truly changed my learning path. Through their content, I learned HTML and CSS much better and started building my own projects. This channel played a big role in helping me grow as a developer.

Once my frontend fundamentals became stronger, I again asked my mentor about backend development. At that time many developers were moving toward Node.js, but since my mentor Farhan Ali Raza was a Django developer, he recommended that I learn Django.

Big thanks to Farhan Ali Raza for guiding me, motivating me when I was stuck, and showing me the path of full-stack development.

I learned Django from different resources including CodingEntrepreneurs and Dennis Ivy, which are my favorite YouTube channels, and started building projects. Over time, I created several applications and continued improving my development skills. (Check my GitHub profile for projects!)

Later, I started working at Ace Studio on project-based work. After some time I wanted to work more closely with a team environment, so I moved forward and joined Coded Clouds.

Looking back, the biggest lesson is simple:
Consistency, patience, and building real projects can completely change your journey.
